Terra Firma
Eco sensitive farms flanked by a forest and surrounded by hills situated in a picturesque landscape of undulated land that allows for farms to be at different levels.
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master,
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster,
And treat those two just the same.
Everything you’ve envisioned in a farm – fresh air, trees, vegetables, breathtaking views, livestock, zero air and noise pollution, rain water harvesting, bio gas, solar grid ties, eco sensitive farm houses, afforestation & off the grid techniques for a minimized carbon footprint.
A lifestyle that reduces the use of the Earth's natural and personal resources. Reduction in carbon footprint would mean a change in our methods of living, building, energy consumption and ultimately conservation.
Located 60 kilometres from Bangalore, near the bustling town of Denkanikotai in Tamil Nadu - India, Rare Earth brings together like minded people into an eco sensitive community.
Rare Earth aim’s to provide an environment to live in a way that is consistent with sustainability, in natural balance and in respect of humanity's symbiotic relationship with the earth's natural ecology.
Spread over 18.35 acres, it is an intentional community whose goal is to be more socially, economically and ecologically sustainable that employs sustainable alternatives to electricity and water, as well as the larger social systems that mirror and support it.
